The reason the reviewer did not write a coherent review is because she is most certainly on Medicare with no job and no education. While I could care less if I sound politically incorrect, I will say that I understand that not all Medicare/Welfare patients behave this way. What you don't know, you ignorant fools, is that Doctor DeMarco is one of the only dentists in the Belmont County and its surrounding counties that will even accept welfare patients. Most dentists will not even deal with the hassle of it. They get far less than their normal charges from Welfare patients because the state will only cover so much. Dr. DeMarco started accepting adolescents over 3 decades ago that are on welfare because he has a kind heart and superior ETHICS. Then, the parents would beg for treatment and he gave in because he couldn't stand to see them in pain.
Most parents are complete idiots in the dentist's office. For whatever reason, people feel it is okay to chastise, scream at, squirm, cry, etc while sitting in the chair. I promise you, if you did that in your physicians or surgeon's office, they would not do your care until you stopped the ridiculous behaviour and would be very stern with you. But with a dentist, you think you have the right, well guess what, you don't. And neither do your kids. My kids are perfect in the dentist's chair because I have never allowed them a choice. I don't tell them if you are good, mommy will get you a treat, I tell them if you aren't good for the dentist, you will spend some time in your room. It is about teaching respect and strength of character. But I don't expect this idiotic reviewer to understand since she has no qualms about taking from her fellow tax payers and not working to get a job or better her life.
And I know for a fact that a parent of a young child is not turned away from being allowed in the room. Over 10, the doctor can refuse, but under 10, they are not allowed to refuse. So this "person" is lying. Pure and simple. And she better be careful because her insinuations and lies could be grounds for liable.
Dr. DeMarco can be stern, but has no choice when people act like complete crazies in the chair. It is better to have someone not like his tone than have a scaple or a drill go through the side of your face. Even with a young child, or really, especially with a young child, they need to be made to understand they must stay still. Dr. DeMarco has all femaled assistants who adore and admire him, four daughters who think he hung the moon, and a granddaughter who feels the same. You would be hard pressed to find a man better to women.
So again, you fools, go get a job, and you might understand. But I know you won't, why would you? My tax dollars pay for you to have internet so you can ignorantly spew lies over the web.

Dr. DeMarco is a kind and decent man. He is in no way a bully or mean; he runs his practice based on professionalism, rational behavior, and most of all the STRICTEST code of ethics. How dare you question his integrity because he does not allow parents in the examining room? Do you know why he does this? It is because, too many times, he has allowed parents to accompany their children, and they have tried to get too invovled or made it WORSE for the child by getting nervous or too worked up. Children react to how their parents act, and if the parents act scared, frantic, and nervous then the child will be scared, frantic, and nervous. When dealing with a high powered drill that could rip a hole in your mouth with one wrong move, it is essential for a patient to be still and cooperative. Did you happen to notice that he also has 2-3 FEMALE assisants at all time in his office with one ALWAYS with him in the examining room? Oh, and I did I mention that his female employees love and respect him so much that they even help him with non-work related issues and come to him first when they have a personal problem. And I find it laughable that you say he is mean to women and children seeing as he grew up with 3 sisters and has 4 daughters of his own and a devoted wife of over 40 years. The women in his life look to him for moral, ethical, professional, and social guidance because they know he will give them the best advice. Dr. DeMarco may be stern, but he never "yells" at patients. Being a strong Italian man, with a booming voice, his "yell" is something that would be heard over at Reisbeck's if he ever used it in his office. It is absolutely necessary for him to be stern for him to do his job. He tries his best to be practical and reason with a child that it is not as bad as it seems. (hence saying a child overly dramatic; he would have said it this way, not OVER DRAMATIC seeing how that is grammatically incorrect, and another one of his attributes is impeccable grammar) It sounds like you all are being overly dramatic by saying he "yelled" at you because, trust me, you would know if he yelled. Dr. DeMarco has been practicing dentistry for almost 40 years and has had devoted patients of all ages and class. I hope that none of you go back to him because he doesn't need patients like you, particuarly the one who wrote the first review and cannot even manage to write coherently! Try re-reading what you write next time. Oh, and you might be wondering why I know so much about him? It's because he is my father, and I am proud to call him that and proud to say that he is a wonderful dentist, father, and inspiration to anyone who is lucky enough to know him.

IF YOU HAVE KIDS, THIS IS NOT THE DENTIST TO GO TO. WHILE DR. DE MARCO SEEMS TO BE A DECENT PERSON, HE SEEMS TO LACK ANY SKILLS WHEN IT COMES TO DEALING WITH CHILDREN OF ALL AGES. HE RIDICULES A CHILD FOR BEING SCARED. IM NOT TALKING ABOUT 12 AND 13 YEAR OLDS BUT EVEN SO NO ONE NEEDS TO EMOTIONAL ABUSE THIS MAN PUTS FORTH. HE YELLS AT 2ND GRADERS FOR BEING SCARED AND TELLS THEM THEY ARE BEING OVER DRAMATIC. HE HAS SCREAMED AT A 5 YEAR OLD FOR ASKING A QUESTION. HE REFUSES TO LET A PARENT GO BACK WHILE HE EXAMINES A CHILDS TEETH OR DOES ANY WORK ON THEIR TEETH, WHICH REALLY MAKES ME QUESTION HIS ETHICS. MOST PEOPLE NOW A DAYS DO NOT WANT TO BE ALONE WITH CHILDREN FOR THE SAKE OF THEIR SAFETY AS WELL AS THE CHILDS SAFETY, YET HE ALL BUT DEMANDS BEING ALONE WITH CHILDREN. THEIR IS EVEN A SIGN IN HIS OFFICE. ITS NOT LIKE THE EXAMINING ROOMS ARE TOO SMALL FOR ONE PARENT TO BE WITH THEIR CHILD.....NOW A WHOLE FAMILY WOULD BE TOO MUCH OF COURSE. OF COURSE THIS MAY BE 100% INNOCENT AND I AM SURE IT IS BUT IT DOES NOT LOOK GOOD FOR HIM, HIS BUSINESS OR THE PATIENTS HE LOSES. WHILE I UNDERSTAND HE NEEDS TO DO HIS JOB, HE SHOULD UNDERSTAND THAT KIDS DO GET SCARED.....AND SOOO MANY PEOPLE ARE AFRAID OF DENTIST ANYWAY. YET IVE NEVER HEARD OF HIM SCREAMING AT SOMEONE OF HIS SIZE WHO MIGHT POSSIBLY BOP HIM ONE.....NO HE IS A BULLY!!!!
