I've been to Italy many times and this is not like an Italian pizza. It is much better. I have been eating Giovanni's pizza in Lorain for over 30 years. Old Town is different, but probably just as good. I go for sausage, dbl cheese and dbl pepperone. Their pizza is extremely flavorfull. I've only had it once, so I can't say it's better than Gionvani's, but I having one tonight to see if it still stands up; I'll let you know. Giovani's is still a much better value (weighs about twice as much, more pizza, less $$). Neither are run of the mill pizzas. They both have a distintive sauce. Get one at either place - YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!
Old Town Pizza with the Old Town Taste: The pizza is wonderful, very homemade like the italians make it ! Does not have that pizza chain taste, it is unique, and what value for your money !! My favorite is not really a pizza but a fold over, the BLT ! loads and loads of bacon !!
Best Pizza Joint Around.....: I grew up in South Amherst and have been friends with the owner for years... Now that's not why I rate it so high, the proof is in the pizza, service and great atmosphere. Try the Woogie,, we like to think it was named after our daughter as we have called her Woogie forever. I promise you will not find a better place.. Whenever we are back in town from Florida a stop at Old Town Pizza is a must. "SEE YA THERE"!!!!!!!!!!
