I rented movies and returned them then i had to go out of town for family reasons. I come home to a bunch of nasty messages and alarge charge on my credit card from blockbuster. So I call and ask why , the rude lady on the phone because one of the cases was missing the movie but they got the other one but i was to pick that on up because i was charged for both. I asked to speak to the manager but she was not there. I called the next day and Tammy the manager was in so I asked her since both movies are returned in her store why am i being charged. She told me that I was rude and the policy states that any late movie is turned into a purchase. I trid to explain to her that they were not late and the one was missing a disk that i have returned later by mistake and i do not want to purchase the movie is there any way i can have the charges removed. She absolutely not and to come pick up my movies. So I did that and to add to her rudeness before handing me my movies she had the nerve to print out a receipt and color in the policy with a pink highlighter and throw it on the counter and repeat it to me again and place inside one of the movie cases. All I wanted to know was if Since they had the movies could I get the charge reversed, a simple NO would have worked.
