I live in Tennessee now, and requested that a birthday cake be delivered to my Mom. The bakery staff was SO helpful, and the bakery staff person who prepared the cake made sure she personally delivered it. They didn't charge more for the cake even though it was an order from out of state, and my Mom was totally surprised. It went so well that I had one delivered to my Dad on his birthday! This store has been centered on serving the North Eaton community since I was a little girl...50 plus years ago. Thanks I.G.A. !! The South could use a little of your Northern hospitality !

This is a great "small town" grocery store with all the pros and cons that go with it. Their selection is more limited than the big franchised stores, but their prices are comparable. The friendliness of the staff is great and you get that long lost amenity of having someone bring your groceries to the car for you. Not many of those kinds of store around any more. I love going there because it feels like a true American store. And this store is truly community oriented, frequently giving out items to local community organizations. I say patronize this store as much as you can!!
