User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsMy sister had her wedding reception at the Party Center over this past weekend (5/16/09) There were numerous things that we can complain about, mainly the rude owner and staff. I can not believe that this man stays in business with the way things were run. Apparently he "forgot" to reserve tables for the parents/grandparents, so they sat in the back of the hall because they were last to arrive.
There was a problem with serving of alcohol. He was very rude to the people in our wedding party and limited us on the alcohol intake before 10:30pm. Even though we were all handeling ourselves tactfully and none of us were driving.
I would never advise ANYONE to ever have an event there or even order food there from catering! Horrible service!
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsMy daughter and I attended a fund raiser on Saturday Sept 13. The man behind the bar who I believe was the owner of the facility was very nasty to those paying for drinks. When it came time to clean up the kids pitched in to help and he snapped at them and told them he could do it himself. He was extremely rude and I will never recommend the Lorain Party Center to any of my collegues or friends.

Thanks for your review. I am in desperate need of a hall now that my venue has backed out 6 months before my wedding. We had them booked in February and they just called us at 6:30 pm today to tell me that they are shutting down. Anyway, I've heard lousy things about this place too, besides the fact that it's situated in a bad neighborhood. Thanks.
