i have taken my pets here for the past 15+ years and have always received exceptional care. i do prefer Dr. Hennis over the other doctor but that could be because Dr. Hennis owns the practice. Sure, they can be a little short... they're just like any other doctor... they have many patients to see. Annette Hennis who usually handles the front desk is wonderful! i now drive 30 minutes to get there because i'm so comfortable with them!

I would not recommend this animal hospital. The technicians and vets do not act like they even like animals. One of the technicians is just downright rude. They need some major customer service training (the animal is their client after all). I don’t know about other people but I want to be made to feel that my dog is important and is “fussed over”.

On one visit I took my dog in to test for worms and get his blood work done. I sat with my dog in the examining room waiting for results for over ½ hour. The technician NOT the vet finally comes in and says “okay.” Okay? Okay what? It was like I had to pry to get information out of her. I never did see the vet again who totally blew off all my concerns and questions.

I was also disturbed when in the waiting room hearing a technician try to answer a mans questions about his dog. The dog had just had major surgery that cost over $1000. I don’t know about other people but I want the vet out there answering my questions. Finally, the vet did have to come out to answer the questions because the technician obviously was not qualified enough to answer this mans concerns.

They are also overpriced. They want to charge $98 for 6 month supply of Frontline. You can get it on-line for less then $70.00 including shipping. All my friends with dogs say there vet does not try to make money off flea and heartworm medication.

I would seriously look elsewhere before taking any animal here.

Highly Recommended: Sagamore Hills Animal Hospital provides unmatched customer service, fair pricing and the most professional care for your pet. I tried out a vet near my house, Green Animal Clinic; they didn't even come close to the service provided at Sagamore. Prescriptions at Green were outrageous as well. I drive 45 miles to take my dogs to Sagamore Hills and it is well worth it. I highly recommend this vet for your pet.
