Not bad: Just and okay family restaurant.
don't bother: The food looked to be good down-home fare, but ended up being bland and tasteless. The clam chowder was luke warm and watery. I ordered liver and onions, which was plentiful as servings were large. Perhaps this would be good for older palates and pocket books, as the prices were a value and early bird specials start at 1:00 PM. The service was adequate, and perhaps better for return visits, but this day at lunch it required prompting for water, silverware, the check, etc.
The most disturbing factor was the 'attitude' to the new non smoking law; I was looking forward to dining with the new law in effect; however, the establishment was choosing to disregard the new law since the penalties and enforcement were not completed. After checking with the OHD who confirmed the law was in effect, this restaurant was argumentative and rude.
No problem about me returning for sure. Wonder if they run red lights if no police are around.
