Grand Valley Veterinary Hospital is one of the most compassionate and caring clinics we have experienced. They truly care about the animals, not just fees. Time and research is given to each case. We have had some mystery cases requiring extensive research and consultations with specialists on the part of Dr. Olszak. She is kind and compassionate and cares about the welfare of the animal she is treating and will go the extra mile to find the source of your animal's problem. I find the prices are very competetive with other clinics in our area. Sometimes it is hard to compare exactly because one clinic may be lower in price on one service, but higher in another. I do not believe Grand Valley is higher than most. The staff is extremely helpful, upbeat and knowledgable. They are willing to talk with you about how pricing is done, why they use the vaccines they do and explain in detail about diagnosis and treatment of your animal. Never too busy to answer any question you may have. Facility is always immaculate. You are met at the front door by a kind, caring and compassionate staff with the ultimate goal to take the best care of your animal. Only negative I can think of is the building is hidden behind A & W Restaurant so unless you are familiar with the area, it may be a little difficult to locate. Two thumbs up for Dr. Olszak and her staff!
Reliable and knowledgeable clinic. Have used them for the past 12 years for our dog (their first patient) and 4 or 5 cats over the years. Recieved a variety of services from vaccines to spay/neuter and declawing. Friendly staff. Only wish the prices were better. Office visits are expensive...to me anyway...have never really checked around though to see how the prices compare in all honesty. On a couple occasions pets were given medications needed without asking if I wanted them. I probably would have used over the counter but they are thorough.

Just curious about meds needed and dispensed ~ what over the counter meds could have been substituted? Also, just to clarify ~ 12 years ago the first dog patient must have been in the new building because we have relied on Dr. Olszak for care to our animals for over 26 years.
