The Center currently holds a 5 star rating which means that your child is in a program that has demonstrated a level of quality the meets all requirements and standards for the first three rating levels and is eligible to gain additional points needed to achieve a higher star rating. Programs have flexibility to earn points in the areas that best support their values, goals and structure. At minimum, the Administrators and most of our teachers have degrees in Early Care and Education and many years of experience. Our staff-child ratios are low and teachers plan intentional and purposeful activities and experiences that meet the needs, interest and abilities of the children. Our program completes regular assessments to evaluate and improve learning experiences. Our program works with families and neighborhood organizations to provide more opportunities for the children. Our staff is required to attend at least an additional 20 hours of training biannually, and the staff are ensured paid trainings, paid time off, and a limited benefits package. Our Schoolage Program at Horace Mann Elementary also holds a 5-star rating. Our Preschool and PreK classrooms are also part of the Universal Pre Kindergarten Program through Cuyahoga County's Invest in Children. Less
