User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe Ugly Broad Tavern: My pool team was lucky enough to be scheduled to play here on a recent Thursday night. Upon approaching The Ugly Broad, it looks like any other West Side dive bar. Once inside, Sherry Perry, the owner, made me feel right at home. The staff was extremely courteous and attentive. I was lucky enough to happen upon the place on "steak night". For 8.50 I was fed a huge steak that was cooked exactly as I ordered it, with a baked potato and salad. I have eaten in plenty of high dollar steak joints in my time, and I have to say that this meal was every bit as good as any I've ever had. My only regret was that I couldn't be there EVERY Thursday night.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsIn This Corner......: This bar makes the top of the list as one of my all-time favourite dive's.Low price's,great taco's,and a great way to keep in shape since theres a good drunken brawl every night.I spent alot of time here in the good old day's.
