| About: | Pier W, a landmark Cleveland restaurant, has been serving a critically acclaimed seafood and contemporary menu since May 11, 1965. Having recently undergone a $3 million interior renovation, the new Pier W resembles a sophisticated luxury liner cantilevered over Lake Erie offering dramatic views of both the Lake and the downtown Cleveland skyline. We would like to request that shorts, flip flops and baseball caps are not worn to the restaurant. |

First and last time there. Food was tasty but the portions were much too small. Between the two of us, we had 3 appetizers and 2 entrees. We were still hungry at the end. My portion included a piece of salmon the size of a thimble and 4 pieces of potato the size of french fries. Also, about a heaping table spoon of spinich. Of course it was all on two gigantic plates. Including our drinks (one mixed drink and one glass of wine each) our bill came to over $135 before tip. Terrible Value.
Amazing food (whether preparing surf or turf!) and a breath taking view.
A very posh and upscale place, people like me can afford to go there once a year, max. But it is definitely worth the money once at least. This is probably the only restaurant with a stellar view of the lake. Their wine choice is phenomenal and, surprisingly, have a dedicated Vegetarian menu. Everything on that list was awesome, including the presentation. This is not a place to fill your belly, but to appreciate the finer points of dining. Expect a triple digit bill for a dinner of two.
