| About: | Fat Fish Blue attempts to offer a slice of New Orleans in downtown Cleveland. Five nights per week, Fat Fish Blue offers live jazz, blues and other southern music, although occasionally this includes a cover at the door. The food is Cajun-influenced and includes specialty entrees like Jackson Square Chicken Napoleon with collard greens, jack cheese, and a lemon sauce, or Alabama Shrimp and Grits. Vegetarians may also enjoy Crescent City Pasta, squash ravioli with tomato. Fat Fish Blue also features several soups, salads, sandwiches and appetizers, like Big Daddy's Gumbo, Southern Fried Chicken, or a Country Cajun burger. - Marjorie Jensen |

On Nov. 7th. at about 7:30 in the evening had the displeasure of trying to dine at the restaurant. There was 7 in our party, granted the place was busy. We placed our orders and waited for our meals and waited and waited and waited., I finally asked to see the manager, a young lady came to our table and I asked her was taking so long. She seemed kind of smug and snippy with the answer, saying they were very busy in the kitchen, that our order was placed 43 minutes ago, that was reasonable, that it usually takes about an hour to prepare the dinners. So we sat and waited some more and she was right about an hour into our placing the order the dinners finally came.
Needless to say, this was way to long a time to have to wait before getting ones food, concluding that most of us ordered sandwichs.
I would say they have to hire more chefs and kitchen help if it takes that long just to get sandwichs. True they are not Mickey D's with premade food but an hour to make sandwichs, come on !!!!
We will in no way be going back to this restaurant anytime soon !!!!!!!
Oh yes and the sandwichs weren't that good either, maybe we should have went to Mickey D's. NOT !!!
Came in for the weekend and read good reviews. Celebrated a friend's b-day there with a group and we had a great time. Crayons on the table to draw while drinking awesome drinks can be dangerous, lol. Food is soooo good and portions are very good! Would love to have one of these places in NYC!
This Place used to be something...WHAT HAPPENED...Food was old and stale,I ordered a Gumbo and they brought me Jambalaya. Then tried to tell me it was Gumbo? Then Some Guy called himself the owner came over waving his rainbow flag telling me I didn't know my southern cooking?????WHAT...Gumbo isnt a soup its a rich rice dish....Get it right...Then when they brought it out...I swear someone spit in it...I will never step foot in that dirty dungeon again...Shame on you for letting your employee's do things like that...with an attitude like that, they wont stay long...BEWARE
