A lovely family owned restaurant. A little pricey, but that is expected downtown. The food was excellent and presented well. We were there before a theater rush, our service was good. The servers seemed a little overwhelmed by the influx of people shortly before the show, however. Definitely recommend, although I would suggest a little before or a little after the typical dinner or lunch rush. The pace of the meal is slower than that of a chain restaurant. Don't expect your food to arrive 10 minutes after you order it, I don't believe they have an assembly line kitchen. This is the kind of restaurant you want to go for a nice, relaxing, romantic dinner when you have some time to sit.
Felt like old friends: Came across Hanna's by accident while looking for a place to park. Since it was a warm day (for a change) my friend and I stopped in for 1 and stayed for a few. Had the Brie Platter Appetizer and Crab cakes, both were very good. We ate and met everyone around us. The owners were very friendly, as well as the patrons we sat near. I felt like I knew everyone for years. The food was great. Prices are what you'd expect in Cleveland. The patio was nice and clean. I can't wait to return with other friends and co-workers, now that the warm weather is finally here for good. Great location just outside the loop of all the beer bars frequented by the game goers, so it is a nice option for the local workers who want a drink after work but want to avoid the crowd of visiting game goers.
good stuff: nice food nice service nice price - sat outside in the fresh air - beautiful.
