I just want to say.....RIGHT ON, Motorcars Toyota! I made the deal I wanted, on EXACTLY the truck I wanted, right over the phone. The next day, I rode my old Harley 300+ miles to Cleveland Heights (in the rain) to get it. The vehicle was as advertized, and I was back on the road with the scooter safely loaded/tied down in the box in just over 2 hours time, and part of that was spent ratchet-jawin' with the staff. The truck runs/looks sweet, and I am once again a happy guy with an awesome vehicle. Great job, Big Ray D. and associates! TOYOTA POWER!
Be very careful when buying a vehicle from this dealership. I was shopping for a new '09 Toyota Prius, and they were the only dealership in the area that had any in stock. After arriving, I found that they were all used vehicles, some with as few miles as 3 miles on them. This prevented me from getting any rebates on the wehicle that were available to new vehicles, allowed only used wehicle financing, and it did not qualify for the Obama rebate available to new motor vehicles purchased in '09. They had bought all cars within 20 miles so there was no competetion, and had no new '09s on the lot.
The bottom line was they offered 2,000 off the new MSRP, but after subtracting the $1,000 rebate and tax incentive savings ($2,000) that was available to a new vehicle purchase, it would cost $1,000 MORE than paying MSRP at a another dealership selling new Priuses. That's a $3,000 profit for the dealer that you might not ever notice. I'll buy my own cookies and save the $$$$ at another dealership 25 miles south of this one.
Recent routine service was scheduled via computer which has become easier to navigate. I showed up on a Monday morning & saw a whole slew of cars in front of me & wondered how in the world I was going to get my routine maintence done on time, how were they going to move all those cars. Well, I checked in, had to go back to my intake rep once to get my coin for the coffee machine, was told it would take one to one and a half hours for service. I enjoyed the warm cookies, my coffee, and crochet while waiting almost to the hour exact, car done, wheels rotated, oil changed etc & car washed. What a pleasant way to start a dreary Monday in Cleveland, OH.

We have 50 rental Prius available, because we purchased them directly from Toyota 8 months ago. We did not buy them from any other dealers. We started selling them because there are no more new 2009 Prius available in our market. The incentives that you refer to is not valid if no cars exist any longer. Your math is not accurate because the $1,000 rebate on the new one is not available because the cars are all sold out. Also the tax rebate that you are referring to is not accurate and does not apply to everyone. It also does not come off of the selling price, but rather when you file tax return next April. It would also be less than $2,000. If we bought them brand new, discounted them $2,000, how in the world could we be making $3,000. We are currently offering 3.9% APR on the Prius, which you can not get on the new ones.
