US Post Office

If a post office needs to be closed, Lyndhurst should be number one on the list. Better yet, get those that work inside replaced with qualified, willing to work, customer oriented, personel. Taxpayers pay their wages!!
We use to have a regular mailman. Since he was changed, we have had poor service. We get mail that doesn't belong to us--frequently.
The topper--I ordered merchandise from JTV, received a confirmation of shipment on 8-25-09. On 9-16-09 @3:53pm I finally called them. They confirmed it was shipped out on the day stated. The lady I spoke with said JTV would sent a letter that I needed to complete and send back.
I sent the letter out this morning--9-23-09. Guess what showed up as a special delivery at 6:31pm today? Yes, the driver stopped his truck, ran to the door (as did I) dropped off the package. It was the JTV package ! I didn't know the post office worked that late !
The first lady I spoke with said they have had problems with the Cleveland area post office and that she will post a note on my account that whenever possible, they will deliver to me by UPS.

I may as well share this review--my SECOND regarding this post office.
Today 10-31-09@ 11:55am, our doorbell rang, my husband answered, and it was the mailcarrier delivering our mail, plus a package that had to be signed for. Before he could sign, he had to provide ID proof of who he was. Keep in mind, this mail carrier was also delivering mail to us with OUR names on it.This has NEVER happened before! We were also told that if I would have answered the door, since my name wasn't on the package, I wouln't be able to sign for it--this has ALSO NEVER happened before.I can't help to think that the supervisor has her own agenda. My husband has had problems with her before. This is now bordering on harrassment and will be pursued. She should remember that it is our tax dollars paying her wages.

This is by far the worst post office...usually short on help..but the woman that work there are horrible..they are slow take their good old time..and lazy as they stand there and ask you to move the boxes off the counter over to the scale..I been there end of the day l3 people in line and one slow worker..and I mean slow ..they have conversations and seems unmoved by all the people in line..I can't believe a government run establishment would allow this and they wonder why they don't have enough business.

This is a very slow post office with carriers often not making their full rounds because they have become slow and milk the route. We have had days where we don't see a postman/woman for up to two days. Very poor service.
