Finally, a low cost, delicious place to eat for us out here in the Aurora/Chagrin area. Food serivce the way only a Greek can provide... fast, friendly, tasty, and an amazing value.
The food may be great with great prices at time - but the owner refuses to follow the smoking ban and provides ashtrays to the patrons. He has openly stated in an Aurora Advocate article that he plans to continue to do so and hopes the ban gets overturned.
If you like eating in an environment filled with smoke - then Papous is perfect for you. If you prefer a smoke free environment - then stay away. We definitely will not be returning with our children - the heavy smoke made it impossible to enjoy our dinners with them.
surprisingly good food ina pub setting: Tuesdays: $2.99 8oz sirloin & Jumbo Baked Potato
Saturdays: Ribs, Coleslaw & Fries - $5 1/2 slab $10 full slab

Papous no longer allow smoking in the restaurant. Its funny too, cuz none of the regulars ever minded the smoke---but people who rarely came in complained enough to force the owner to stop allowing his regular bar patrons to smoke. So basically, the complaints of a few, who seldomly hung out at papous, forced the majority of customers--the regulars who hung out at papous everyday--to change their habits. It is pretty ridiculous. You probably don't even go to this bar anymore--yet you have forced everyone there to behave a specific way to accommodate you. Ridicuous.
