Excellent food. We went their on Easter. Everything was great except the service. Our waitress was really short with us and when we asked her for a desert menu, she did not bring the plate around that has all the deserts, she just threw down the desert menu and did not tell us about the desert of the day. I am in customer service and it really upsets me when people act like that. She needs a happy talk!!
With friends visiting from out of state we looked for a restaruant close to where they were staying and came up with Eddie's Creekside in Brecksville. What an unexpected treat. First off the people who work there are wonderful. They make you feel really at home even if you are a first time visitor.
One of us had a starter which was a wonderful Smoked Tomato Bisque. We all sampled it and there were no negative comments.
Two of us went for the Black & Blue Strip Steak which was blackened with Cajun spices. Still no complaints.
The Artichoke & Chicken Saute attracted one member of our group. Pan seared chicken chicken sauteed with atrichoke heards, shallots and mushrooms in a whint eine lemon sauce over fresh pasta. Served with a tossed salad. Another very satisfying dish.
Our 4th choice was the Island Rib & Shrimp Combo. What they called a Half Slab of baby back ribs topped with a sweet red chile teriyaki sauce. Served with three coconut shrimp and stir fried rice. Clearly addictive.
They are positively on our "Must Return To" list.
Customer Service is not a priority!: We have always enjoyed dining at Eddie's Creekside but were very disappointed in the manner that a birthday certificate was handled. I was emailed the certificate two weeks before the date it expired....but I was ill and just recently was able to get up and get out. I called in hopes that I would still be able to use the certificate, but was told that it was no longer valid. I explained the situation...but was still turned down. I explained that I would be bringing three more people to dinner and thought that three dinners paid would be better than none. Customer service is obviously not a priority! A similar situation occured at Red Robin and they did honor their birthday certificate.

Just a dumb thing to do. They should have honored it.
