Wonderful Cakes: I have used Tapp's ever since someone recommended it for my wedding six years ago. We have used them for our children's birthday parties every year for the last 5 years. They do amazing work!

Awesome Cakes: Tapp's is a awewome place, the staff is great and helpful. The owners will do almost anything to help you out, and not to mention the cakes they are from out of this world, from the taste to the decorations. They do all kinds of cakes from birthdays to weddings. They can do most anything on a cake as long as its not copywrited.

WARNING!!: I paid Tapp's do a cake for a September 2005 Wedding. I provided a colored picture of the cake and how it was suppose to look in February. We also choose the flavors at that time. Less than 5 days before the wedding I spoke with Karen the owner. She called to confirm the cake flavors. We had chosen 3 flavors and she had each of them wrong. After half a dozen phone calls to her and other employees I thought the flavors had been corrected.

I arrived at the reception to find a cake that I thought was someone else's. I had to check with the hall personnel to verify this cake had been delivered by Tapp's. The cake was completely white. I provided a picture of a yellow cake with colored roses on top and white accents on the cake. Then, the cake was cut and the flavors revealed. Two of the three flavors were wrong.

I called Tapp's Monday to speak with Karen, the owner, and was told she would call me back. After a day and no call, I called again. I was then told she would not be in until Thursday, so I left another message. Friday came and no call. I called again and was told she had already left for the day. I left I final message. At 10:30 Friday night, I received a call from Karen. She insisted the cake was right. She did not even allow for me to explain all the problems with the cake. She only referred to her notes and repeated that it was done correctly. She did not offer any apology or even the chance to discuss my concerns.

A wedding is an important event and people are paid for the service they are supposed to provide. Tapp's did not provide us with a cake that was presentable or flavors that were correct. But, they did take their money. I would strongly urge against using Tapp's Cake Emporium. Karen the owner provides no service or quality at this business.
