Wow! I can't believe anyone could complain about the food at this place! We locals know it is fantastic! The restaurant is a bit of a hole-in-the wall nondescript place in a little strip plaza. It has booth seating and a few tables and a bit of a diner or coffee shop feel, so not a fancy french restaurant by any means. The attraction is all about the food. The stars of the show are the chicken sandwich with french mayo and the onion soup which is yummy, a bit salty and covered with a thick plaster of cheese you will find yourself peeling off of the cup so you don't miss a mouthful. The crepes are another treat with ice cream and various toppings. Oh, and the entree crepes are also great. Salads are nondescript - just cheese covered greenery so save that for another place.
The perfect meal: chicken sandwich with mayo or entree crepe, cup of onion soup and an ice cream crepe to share for dessert. I am headed there right now...

Not recommended: The food was terrible. I had heard very good things about the french onion soup. It was cold and there were no onions.

Yummy!: Okay, so I lived a mile from the French Coffee Shop for three years and never tired it out. The food was amazing! They have lots of different sandwiches, all at great prices! The french onion soup was out of this world. Small quant place, good service and yummy food! Its a lunch must!
