Air conditioners are touch and go, whether you are a Honda dealer, or a ma & pa mechanic specializing in cooling systems. I had a jeep that had the same problems. I would beware anything for anywhere that involves an air conditioner, but I would not begrudge them for a 5 year old air conditioner that doesnât work. Take it to Jay and it will be the same. As for the location, I just bought a 2009 civic hybrid there and it was totally non hassle, and I ended up paying $400 over invoice for a car that people are waiting for. All in all a very pleasurable experience. I only bought my Civic from Classic because my mother bought an accord ex and loved their service. I hope this helps all others. (And please don't tell me that because your AC doesnât work that that is any different anywhere else.) The Jeep ended up costing more than $2,100.00 to fix and my girlfriend's Neon we gave up on fixing after $800.00. The truth is if it needs recharged, great. If not, deal with the heat, or sell the car)
You would think that a Honda dealership would be able to fix any problem with a Honda but take warning. I had problems with my 03 Civic's air and I have had it in there 4 times within the last 3 weeks and my air STILL DOES NOT WORK! I have spent over $2100 and still no air! I just got it back (after the 4th visit) on Wednesday. By Sunday, it was out again. They tried everything from âre-chargingâ it, to fixing the entire system. The last visit, they waived the âlaborâ charges, (as they should) but I would rather have the problem fixed already!
BEWARE!!!
