went up for the blink show the other night. sat in traffic roughly a hour and a half to go three miles....that was fun! from there found out the opening band cancelled. missed all of fall out boy (wasnt too upset, dont care for them anyways)... missed the first song from blink by time we finally walked the full mile away that we had to park. noone was there to direct us to our seats, found out they didnt have chair backs. and there were about 30 people standing in our 15 seat aisle... so we stood the whole time on the stairs... the sound was good, blink was great to see live, as i expected. however every part involving the blossom was very disappointing. I honestly thought that post-gazette pavilion in Pittsburgh was bad, but after this experience post-gazette (aka star lake) looks like a fancy opera house with superior organizers. on a lighter note we stayed at the staybridge suites right up the road... well 3 miles, haha the longest three miles ever, someone was walking that kept pace with us. anyways the staybridge was a great hotel, nice staff, beautiful facilities and great amenities, might go back just to stay there! hope the review helps. and remember leave 3 hours early to get to the blossom, you'll need the time
NEVER....EVER...AGAIN! My wife and I spent just about $300 on 2 concert tickets and that was with all the EXTRAS of convience fees...facility fees...handling fees....postage fees....etc. and then we find that a CAN of beer is $11.00 a single 20 ounce Coke is $5.00.... a bottle of WATER IS $5.00, I can go on and on but the food and beverage prices were GOUGE CITY. We drove in for this concert from Erie Pa. and would never return to Blossom. On top of all that,These people STOOD the ENTIRE show and I never was able to sit in the $300 seats! The staff at Blossom was VERY,VERY RUDE as well and NOBODY there had a personality. What a terrible OVERPRICED place !
But I still love it: I have been going to Blossom since high school (a VERY long time ago) and can see from year to year fewer decent concerts scheduled. I don't believe it's because of competing venue's since Blossom is unique to this area. It's not only difficult to get past the costs and hassle to get decent seats but even more offensive are the commercials running on the big screens, and worst of all, the blocked gated entry areas and being subjected to limited carry-in's and personal searches. Last night, at Nickleback (which was great!), I had to open - then throw away the cap - to my store bought bottled water, in front of some way-too-serious employee who, when I asked if he had ever been to Blossom in the 70's when it was the best, smugly commented: "9/11 changed everything". It took a while to get past that ignorant comment. No, a few bad apples and Blossom management changed everything. It's really a shame.

You seem to have very little good to say about any place you've been. Okay, that's fine; could you, at least, please refrain from capitalizing your words so frequently? It makes the review sound puerile. Also, if you had a problem with the price of those tickets you ought not to have bought them, and I'm surprised that you would expect food prices to be anything but unreasonable at an entertainment venue. And yes, people do stand during concerts as many of them enjoy dancing to the music they've paid so much to hear. As for personalities, yours shines through in your colorful reviews; please consider doing something more constructive with your time.
