    I have purchased every major appliance as well as carpeting from Lowes and would give them five plus stars for their service and commitment. Any issues I have had with scratches, delivery damage or just plain bad product, they have stood behind 110%. I continue to shop their year after year based on their willingness to support their sales after the fact. Not all their employees are friendly (or even bright), but that is going to be anywhere these days. Bottom line is when there is an issue, management will make sure the customer is satisfied. I would not even consider buying any major purchase elsewhere. After a lifetime of Sears, I am happy to report that I am now an exclusive Lowes customer.

    Ordered a new steel double front door and installation through Lowe's to replace one damaged by wind in July. The order time was very good. The construction of the door is good quality. The choices for small window shape and glass type in it as an accent isn't unreasonable in pricing. The custom sizing was very close to the measurements. Customer service provided a very good detailed plan of the installation process. The Installer showed up on time with all the materials and did an excellent job. He kept everything neat and clean the whole time. Discussed with me how I wanted things done if he had a question on the finished look I wanted. Completed install ahead of schedule.

    Lowe's followed up by phone the next day on how well he did on the install.

    Overall I'm very happy with the door itself and installation process.

    The only thing that didn't turn out so good was the Valspar Semi-gloss paint I got to paint the door. The interior "off-white" color it's very thin and doesn't coat well. The Exterior Paint was very thick and doesn't seem to be adhering well after two coats. I did wash down the door and completely dry it before painting it. It was factory primed.

    Overall I'm very happy with the look and I just hope the paint holds up and I'm not painting again next summer.
