   MoreThe Turkeyfoot Island Club is a unique social club with a season starting in April and ending with the New Year's Eve Party. The club has a long history in the area going back 106 years with the purchase of the island by Frank Lahm. Our main social events include Wednesday night dinners starting with cocktails on the patio at 6:15pm, followed by dinner at 7:15pm. The social schedule starts each year with the Kentucky Derby Party on the first Saturday in May. Many of the Wednesday dinners are "themed" and include entertainment or activities. There are five very nice sleeping rooms at the club for use by members and non-members. The club is also available to rent for private functions such as anniversaries, showers, birthdays, class reunions, family reunions and small wedding receptions. Less
