I buy all my big appl. from this store but when it comes to customer service this store sucks they never answer the phone and then on the blue moon days when they do they never know what they are talking about .They need to hire new more competente(oops spelled that wrong) people including the management
I bought a HP Pavilion Lap Top and three months later it died. I took it in for repair and after about three weeks i was told that they were waiting on approval to replace. They ended up repairing it. I brought it home and ran it for about 10 minutes and discovered that it was still messed up....volume sensors are messed up. the volume window kept coming up and was going nuts. After taking it to Best Buy again, i found that the warranty is NOT through Best Buy, but through HP. The approval for replacement was requested of HP and they denied it and approved replacement of the motherboard and CPU. They now have to ship it back to Chicago (I live in Akron, Ohio) for repair...the last time took around three weeks. Here is the real kicker...and reason for my post: In talking with the Geek Squad at Best Buy they said that it is HP's protocol not to replace computers until they have been serviced, and had hardware replaced, FOUR times within their 1 year warranty period. FOUR TIMES!?!?!?
While i love HP printers, i can tell you that this computer will be my last purchase of an HP computer. To have a 'four hardware failure' replacement policy tells me that they do not have any confidence in the product they are selling....so why should i. Consider this very hard before purchasing any HP Computer.
i bought a laptop in november, they charged me a lot of extra money to install antivirus software. 5 months later it stopped working,, they were trying to charge me another 130 dollars plus tax to fix a virus in the software.. they are crooks
