User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI was a first time customer last night, and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. At first, I thought the prices were a bit high, but the quality of the food we received was outstanding.
I ordered the Maurice Salad...this was the best salad I have EVER had !!! My boyfriend had a filet (very, very rare) and it was delicious (he let me try it -- it just melted in my mouth). The service was great, and we felt very welcome. It was not very crowded, being that it was a weeknight and mid evening (8:30). I was so impressed with this restaurant, and will definitely go back again next time I'm in the Akron area.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsUnbelieavable. I have never been so disapointed in a meal in my life. I bought a $30 steak that was burnt to a crisp on the outside and raw on the inside. They called it char but it was burn and disgusting. My wife had a chicken and shrimp meal that had some sauce they were calling a dejoune sauce which tasted like someone put a pound of garlic on the food. As for ambiance it is great if you like to eat in a funeral home. The music was a radio station that played more commercials then music. The waitress was also the bartender and did not even know if they had champagne. They brought our meal out on a push cart like we were getting our hospital stay dinner. Reminds me of a restaurant that should be on Fox's Kitchen Nightmares. I will never be attending this restaurant again. The only thing that made me happy during the entire meal was the fact that I had a gift certificate that covered most the cost. I could recommend atleast 100 restuarants you could eat at much cheaper and have way better food and atmosphere

We drive up from Massillon just to go to such a great resturant. I have never had better fish than what Nick Anthe's serves. To bad he wasn't there when we lived on North Hill as it is a great place to take your date.
