User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsThe locals love this place, and so does my extended family. I am not so sure. The chef attended Ohio State: O-H-I-O! So he gets some points for just that.
All in all, the restaurant was accessable. Sometimes the service is medicore and other times it is fantastic.
The hash browns, in my opinion are seasoned with some odd spice. Even though there was plenty of them, they tasted "off".
One of the dinners, Salisbury steak, tasted like it was out of a bag. The hamburger was good, though not excellent. The portions were large and the prices were reasonable.
I do love the large window in the front to people watch, but the Yankee Kitchen is so busy, cars are the usual visage.

you are over fed and the place is dirty wash clothes for cleaning off the tables are thrown throughthe air and not rinsed out from dirty table to dirty table the service people stand and eat at the counter and with out washing their hands get your food, fix your plate, and serve your food too. the whole experience is unsanitary and disgusting.
