I also went to STADIUM IN SALEM to purchase a car and dealt with salesman [ allen deal ] and was mislead / frauded ,sold someone else's car [ this car was imposed as a car from the dealership,]this is the same thing the lending associate at FARMERS NATIONAL BANK told me. SCOTT HENTHORN [ another salesman at stadium ] told allen this is a good one to sell the car to,then scott tried to send me to attorney larry stacey to mislead on the problem.I went to the state once before ,IM going back again,I WILL NOT SHUT UP UNTILL THEY MAKE IT RIGHT WITH ME,WHEN THEY DO THAT THEN I SHUT UP.KEVIN FUNK [ NERD] WAS THE FINANCE MANGER AT THE TIME OF LOAN. BE REALLY CAREFUL IF ANYONE DEALS WITH THESE GUYS OR YOU'LL BE IN THE SAME SPOT IM IN PEOPLE
Had a great experience, and would deal with them again. Maybe next time, we can't agree on numbers, but It certainly wouldn't keep me from trying again.
For those who have bad experiences with ANY dealer, remember that ultimately they are in the business to sell cars for a profit. That profit means people get paid, and bills get paid that allow the doors to remain open. Remember too, that a car dealer can always REPLACE a car that was sold. What they can't replace is a customer who didn't buy. If you didn't get the car you wanted at the price you wanted, figure it was not personal but rather the offer probably didn't cover the needs of the seller. If they took it in for 2000, you probably aren't buying it for 2100.
Most dealers really want you to BUY a car. Some places are pretty firm on prices. Some dealers do not excel at "CUSTOMER SERVICE". If you are not comfortable with the take it or leave it attitude, dozens of other stores will work with you. Regarding Stadium, customer service is not an issue, They are first class in that deartment.
Ultimately, go in with a good attitude, give it your best shot and most places will do what they can to seal the deal.
Don't recommend this place either: My boyfriend and I came here to actually purchase a 2007 Rendezvous last month. When the salesman came back and told us that he would get almost $2,000 less for his trade than other dealerships, my boyfriend said "no way." Did the salesman want our business? Nope, he didn't care and he didn't even negotiate any deal. He just let us walk out, and as far as I am concerned, he lost a good deal because we would have bought a vehicle that night had it not been for the ignorance of the salesman, and of course, his boss. They don't deal here, so don't waste your time!
