User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe other reviews are spot on. I love stopping by on my way to Kohl's or Borders, which are just down the road near Eastwood Mall in Niles. French St.is now open till 3 p.m. Sundays, & the promotion today (Sun.) was free coffee with any purchase. I just finished a delicious half lobster roll on French bread (your choice of bread) as big as a reg. one anywhere else) with kettle chips & pickle. The server even put on a fresh pot of coffee for me to have for free though it was 5 min. b4 closing (!) The pastries are beautiful, unique and delish; as are the sandwiches, soups and quiches; the coffee by the pound is amazing. Today's featured drink sounded great -- a deluxe lemonade. Be sure to ask for sandwich, coffee by the pound and drink club cards to earn freebies. BTW: they cater too and sell wine by the bottle; just wish they had a web site since I live 30 min. away. Five stars.

As a medical sales rep, I fequent a good number of local eateries for both my personal and business needs (physician's/client lunches)...and I've eaten the fare at most every place around. Trust me, FSC gets top marks for portion size, presentation and selection. Best place in Warren/Niles area for soups, sandwiches and baked goods. ..and the ambiance is distinctly unique.
Hard to find places that fill the bill on the combination of taste, value and charm, but that's what we have here. (Plus Greg, his wife and staff are "bend over backward" to make sure all needs are met.)
If I had three thumbs, they'd get that one too!!

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis place was great! The portions are huge and the food is so fresh and everything we tried was really good. They even let us taste-test our meals before ordering. Highly recommend!
