I have never been treated so rudely or with such disregard as to have an employee blame me for her mistakes. It took over five months for our bridesmaid dresses to arrive, only two weeks before the wedding. We got no compensation for the late arrival. My dress was huge and cost an absurd amount of money because the employee I talked to ordered me a dress two sizes too large, insisting that a dress any smaller wouldn't fit according to my measurements. The owner yelled at my sister for writing a poor review and insisted she take it down and write a good review, even though our dresses weren't even in yet. They ordered shoes that were too small for my husband and told him to wear thinner socks. Again, no compensation or apology, as of course it was his fault. I even wrote the owner explaining our grievances, and I have received no reply. They are full of excuses and accusations. If you want dresses to be on time and the right size, go elsewhere!
There's a reason that the Better Business Bureau gives this place an F. The owner, Lori, and her staff are disorganized, unprofessional, and dishonest. When you notice one of their multiple mistakes, they won't acknowledge it, and if you persist, they'll be entirely unapologetic, because, you see, it's never their fault. When something really bad happens, she'll either lie or tell you that nothing like this has happened to her in 25 years in the industry--but after two or three once-in-a-quarter-century events happen to you, that one wears pretty thin. I've never spent so much money and been treated so horribly in my life.
From the beginning I had nothing but problems. She was in breach of contract on the amount of my deposit, so my dress was delayed. Then, after flying 2000 miles for a fitting, they had the wrong one, so I didn't even see my 'real' dress until the week of my wedding--and that one was wrong too. When Lori's seamstresses tried to 'fix' it by removing all of the beading that shouldn't have been there, they completely massacred the lace underneath, forcing me to order an entirely new piece from the designer three days before my wedding. I ended up taking the dress to another bridal shop, and they were able to at least patch it up enough to make it wearable.
Take my advice, and go somewhere that cares as much about your dress as you do--this place isn't it.
I love this store! They were chosen for the state of Ohio to be
the store for "Brides Across America" and I know why! We have had such a great experience and the staff was fantastic! We have had the best service alterations and fun! The dresses arrived on time my bridal party looked fantastic, they helped me with every step of the way! We went to several bridal stores before we bought my gown and I would recommend them to everyone!
