User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsButler Institute of American Art has a very fine collection of American Art that is a must see for most people. They accumulated before American art was collectable so they have many pieces not available elsewhere. The painting "Crack the Whip" by Winslow Homer is beloved by many people. They have taken an interest in develping the aesthic taste of locals with their sports collection. They are also one of the few museums that bothers to have an exhibit of local artists. Their heart is definitely in the right place.
