User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsplease check all dating on items !! since opening new store in boardman, i have come home and discovered expired items ranging from soup to dirusso sausage to indian summer drinks. the sausage which i bought in october was expired in july ! brought in to the attention of manager and he could have cared less !! i will NEVER go back there and will return to giant eagle mainly because the manager said they would check with upper management because i had a gift card that i wanted the money back for..took my number...NEVER heard from anyone....so basically they could care less about the customer !!! have told 20 or so people about the above situation and very few will shop there again. also i wanted to exchange the expired sausage for a new one..they said..no receipt..no exchange even though i shopped there every week and spent thousands of dollars in the store...BUT NEVER AGAIN !

The other writer is correct...many employees are abrupt and seem rude when they wait on you at the meat and deli counters. I have always considered it a good day when Martha on South Avenue waits on me. She offers excellent recommendations and is very patient. She recognizes so many customers that it never ceases to amaze me. Perhaps with all the cloning going on these days - they could clone Martha? I think it would definitely benefit their new South Avenue/Maple Drive store if she were a part of that operation.

If you can get passed some of the workers' RUDENESS and SNIPPINESS at the meat counter and delicatessen, you will enjoy fine meats at reasonable prices. My familiy has been going there for years and enjoy the Italian atmosphere. I hope one of the Rulli's addresses this wiht his staff. My family would be disappointed if they knew how some of the customers were treated! I will raise the rating when staff are more customer service friendly.

Yes, sometimes the workers at the meat counter seem short, but the young men who work at the Kirk Rd. Rulli's are very helpful and friendly!!
