I was born and raised in Alliance/Sebring area and have been a Californian since 1990. Until youve had Mexican here or across the border for that matter you've never tasted real Mexican. Pancho's isnt bad but its a very American version of what true Mexican is. Ill take Mexico anyday.
I've eaten at Mexican Resturants from Vega's to the Eastern seashore and I have to say PANCHO'S is the best of all that I've tried. El Carlo's in Springfield Mo., and a resturant in Virginia named Anita's were the only 2 of several dozen resturants I've tried that even came close... There is a resturant in Salem, Jalisco's that is also a superb Mexican resturant, but it is a step below "PANCHOS".
This is the most awful Mexican food I have ever had. The food leaves an bad taste in your mouth, and even when eating it all I could taste was metal. This was the second time I had been there and I had the same experience the first time, I was just hoping it was a fluke.
The service is mediocore at best. We were sat down without a menu. 20 minutes later a waitress comes over and asks if I need a menu, brings chips and salsa, then had to wait another 10 minutes before we were asked what we would like to drink.
I will not be going back. I am very disappointed. This is not authentic at all, either.

Of course it's not MEXICO - You can't get real FRENCH food here either because it's tough to get all the fresh ingredients needed to make an authentic meal - But they've always done a pretty good job and were the first in the area to do so. Always remember to ask the waiter what they make that's really good.
