User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThis was a nice place, the service was very friendly and helpful. I went for lunch and had the spaghetti with meat sauce. The pasta was overcooked (more than likely previously cooked and then reheated), but the meat sauce was very nice. Not too sweet.
The accompanying salad was pretty straight forward, but the rolls are homemade, unique, and quite good.
The lunch prices are fantastic, but even the non-lunch prices seem in-line with what other places are charging.
I'd pick Smiley's over Olive Garden any day.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI've been here a few times and I've always really enjoyed it. The prices and food are much better than what you find at those faux Italian chains like Olive Garden. The staff is also friendlier and I've never had to wait in line to be seated. The atmosphere is homey and old fashioned and the food is Italian-American. I really love their wedding soup and lasagne. So, if you want Italian, try something local--I think you'll be pleased you did.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starswe eat at Smileys quite often , not only is the food fantastic but so are the employees. .we never leave there hungy , and the rolls are soooooo good .thanks Smiley for bringing a wonderful Resturant to Massillon! See there is more to Massillon than football there is SMILEY'S !!
