MY GIRLFRIEND AND I ATE AT THE LYN TODAY FOR LUNCH...IT WAS AWESOME! WE WENT AT LUNCH AND IT WAS BUSY...WE GOT SEATED RIGHT AWAY AND THE FOOD WAS SERVED QUICKLY. WE BOTH HAD THE CHICKEN-BACON WRAP WITH FRENCH FRIED SWEET POTATOES. THEY CAME WITH A DIP MADE FROM HOMEMADE WHIPPED CREAM AND MAPLE SYRUP...OH YUM! WE EACH HAD A PIECE OF PIE...MINE WAS COCONUT CREAM AND HER'S WAS CHOCOLATE P-NUT BUTTER. WE WILL DEFINITELY GO BACK AGAIN TO EAT THERE...BOTH TIMES THE FOOD WAS AWESOME AND THE SERVICE GREAT!!!!

OK.. I know Lyn-Way is a long time Ashland fave... but can I just say "eww"!? I had eaten breakfast and lunch here a few times with friends, but wasn't overly impressed. Thought, "What's all the hype?" I didn't grow up in Ashland, so I didn't get it. People kept encouraging me... "maybe you went on an 'off' day! Go back again!! You'll love it!" So we did. This time it was the whole family. We each got something different so we could sample and share from eachother's plates. Not only was the service awful, but the food was worse. Someone else mentioned cafeteria food... I wouldn't even give it that much credit. Honestly I have no clue how this place stays so busy.

I will give it one thing... I hear the pies are out of this world. I don't eat sweets, so I don't know from taste-testing myself, but I have friends that will go there JUST for the pies. That's where the ONE STAR came from in my review.

This has become one of our favorite places to stop and eat a great piece of pie! It is a nice family friendly place to stop in! Yum!
