    well it is better then nothing....but not much: Less then adequate road side fare,plenty of grease and a wayward eye to a health code...last time I was there my server smoked a cigar while carrying food...and the overall darkness. (which may be to hide the dirt and such),the annoying teenagers talking and swearing in front of the building and blocking the entrance..and the dirty glasses all tell me I wont be back and should not recoment this place at all. On the other hand,without driving for 30 minutes there isnt much option. Get a pizza down at the gas station instead,its better and fresher and the folks are more welcoming. Funny festival a plus,but not enough to offset the 3 days of stomach distress from eating at it.

    Wonderful Place!!: I love the Tiro Tavern, they have great food at reasonible prices, you can get a whole steak dinner for like $12! Go and try it you won't be sorry!!

    good food specials at lunch: when traveling through the area a good stop for lunch.Nice people the tironians are!the tavern is a friendly place which 2 annual events the coon feed and theTesticle festival serving delicious mountain oysters.Come ahd have a ball!!
