User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsNice family restaurant offering true country cooking. Small salad bar. Great breakfasts, excellent pancakes, sausage and gravy, and country fried steak. Good food, otherwise pretty average. Friendly and helpful staff.

I agree that the portions are huge...but is that really a good thing? This stuff might be ok if you're going out to build fence or throw hay bales on a trailer all afternoon, but no one I know needs so much starch and fat. The only improvement to this place is that there's no smoking anymore.

The people at the country inn are great, My husband and I eat there at least once a week and never had complaints. We walk in and the ladies that work there know what we like to drink what we always order. I can't say enough about the ladies of Country Inn. Great people Great food.

Maybe I am different but I for one know when to stop eating and leave some food and I also know a little self indulgence in moderation is just fine.
