Let's Do Lunch!: Having lunch at PF Chang's Chinese Bistro is a great experience overall. I love the honey glazed chicken and the fried calamari appetizer. It doesn't hurt that they give you a good helping of either white rice or brown rice. However, the broccoli beef is not the best I have tasted; although it has a good combination of flavors in the dish. I am not saying it is bad, I am just saying I have tasted better. Now the ambiance is excellent when I sit at a booth. I never really enjoy sitting anywhere else because the tables are kind of crowded together. The overall atmosphere is really pleasant and the servers are usually very kind and professional about what they do. If you want to enjoy a good meal that is not too expensive(compared to dinner) . . . do lunch at PF Chang's Chinese Bistro.
Chinese with Class: My favorite Chinese restaurant! Wonderful ambiance, and the food is fantastic! i adore the vegetable roll-ups!
Chinese Bistro??: Well, for Chinese...This is as commercial and themed out as it gets for Chinese! Think Friday's but Chinese/amer. like food!! Yeah, nice decor, contemporary museum like (don't touch that!)...Food was fair/poor and the cost is high! Ok, the ginger tea was good! For Great Chinese, try Uncle Yips or Pacific Moon Cafe!!

Commercial maybe - but at least they are consistent with their food and service - which I think is decent - My friends and I do come out here on occasion. The reason why I'm posting mostly is because of my opinions of Pacific Moon vs. PF Changs. Since Pacific Moon Cafe has moved to Newport, the food hasn't had the same quality of food as it did when it was in Montgomery - it seems as if the quality of food has been traded in for hip DJs and riverfront space. I can't get behind any institution that lets their food suffer so much for their image.
I agree that PF Changs is not authentic but Pacific Moon! Come On! If that is you take on "good" chinese! YUK. I agree with ksmith7935. The food at PF Changs is consistent and good and a little pricey but the atmosphere is great.
