I used to love Ko-Sho but it has gotten very run down. Went 9-27-08. Server was nice but food tasted funny. Sukiyaki looked old, was overcooked (used to let me cook it myself at the table). Worst of all, I took a friend who had never had Japanese food before and there were fruit flies and bugs all over her food. When I went to the restroom, they were all over the restroom too. $70 for buggy food, can no longer recommend.
Didn't eat there but I called them to do take out and the person answering the phone was incredibly rude. Won't eat there.
So, so: This place is a few blocks from the Aronoff Center, off the beaten path so to say. The food was ok! it was not up to par with the likes of JoAn (in Ky.) or Mei (in Oh.) but in a pinch it's not bad. The decor is a Mediterranean/Mexican style I guess from the last occupant and looked run down. If your downtown try Benihana instead.
