    Everyone Welcome: Northside Tavern is a large cozy bar with two pool tables in the back. a tiny arcade room (2-3 machines), a large bar with tables, sofas, chairs, etc. Outside is a large patio that is shared with The hideaway (restaurant next door with a very good menu with a variety of entrees and sandwiches) and also Melt (another restaurant - very vegetarian/Vegan friendly). In the fall and spring they have heaters and firepits outside.
    The Tavern is a great mix of all types. Old, young, professors, artists, rockers, families, etc. All types are welcome, and none feel out of place. The music is also very diverse. They have accoustic groups, rockers, alternative, bluegrass, punk...you name it - they have it. But NO COVER BANDS!!!!

    Nice cozy place.: Acoustic singer/songwriters frequent this joint.
