User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsaverage at best...if you want a really good double-decker go to j+j's across from western hills plaza....or go to sebastions on covedale and glenway for the best gyros in town...
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsbest toast around!: I have been going to PHC since I was a baby. I have never once regretted my decision to eat there. The people are always so friendly and happy to see you, and more than likely you will run into a neighbor or old childhood friend. The owner Sam is always there making rounds making sure that you are enjoying your time. It is a charming little place in the middle of the West Side of Cincinnati that everyone should go to at least once, because more than likely you will go back again and again!
Be warned that if you do decide to venture into the wild unknown of PHC that you would probably be assaulted by the loud patrons who are gossiping and yelling across the restaurant to their friends. Tables will be moved and whole groups will rearrange themselves so that the people they know who walk in can sit with them. You have got to love the overly friendly German tradition that is still overly present in this place.
Everything on the menu is delicious, and they have pretty much anything that you could possibly want at a reasonable price. I highly suggest their goetta and their toast! They have the best toast around!-

Great Neighborhood Restaurant: Price Hill Chili offers a comfortable, family atmosphere with a large variety of menu items. Great place for gatherings after a movie, football game, etc. Try their homemade chili and goetta!
