Our son and his bride chose Deweys Pizza Harpers Point for the Rehearsal Dinner to "kick off" their wedding weekend.
Living four hours away, and never having been to a Deweys, I was a bit aprehensive about this plan. However, that was unfounded. The Managers, were most helpful during my phone calls about the room, decorations, etc. Mgr. Will was fantastic on the day of the event as were our servers, Ellen and Stephanie.
We were given plenty of time to decorate and not be rushed for the other things we needed to do before the rehearsal.
Using the online menu, I went over our choices with our son prior to placing our order.
I have received many positive comments from our guests about the food. 90% were from either out of town or out of state.
The room max capicity is 50. Our group totaled 46 mostly adults. We did alot of meeting and mixing, but felt a bit crowded when it came time to go through the buffet line. Thinking back, adjusting table placement would have eliminated that feeling. A major plus for the room is that it is totaly seperate from the main dining area complete with glass doors.
When asked why they chose Deweys, our couple said that they wanted a relaxed atmosphere for the wedding party and out of state guest the evening before the wedding.
I highly recommed Deweys at Harpers Point for a dinner/party.
The location in Oakley Square is MUUUUUCH better. Much smaller, but never had a bad pizza there.
Not bad for a chain. The pizza is okay. Maybe I was there on an off day (or two), but it didn't live up to the hype.
