A good place to eat. The setting is nice service is good and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
I've been to The Dock several times with family and friends when I was invited to go along. I have tried several different menu items. So far nothing has really grabbed me to say " Oh my God, this is so good, I'll have to come back" The food is average at best. If you want a true seafood experience try Jay's seafood in the Oregon District in Dayton. Even Red Lobster is better than this place. I won't be going back.
This is the second time we visited the dock. We thought we would give it another chance. The service was poor. It took us over an hour to get our food and they weren't even busy. I had the seafood portobello. It was good, but not $19.50 good! I ordered blue cheese dressing that also cost 50 cents extra and it was in a little plastic cup. Come on, you don't charge extra for a tablespoon of dressing. My wife got grouper and was disappointed too. I think this restaurant is too pricey for what you get. There are better seafood restaurants out there.
