How does this place have a 5 star rating?! I know they offer a nice line of beers, served up in a historical tavern, but past that, what is there? The food is just okay bar food. The prices are a bit high for the quality, service, and atmosphere. We love to sit outside, but the tables and chairs are worse than you find at a K-Mark clearance sale. Servers are ditsy. And for heaven's sake, please watch your head when leaving the dark, dungeon-like dining area. A bump on the head is all you need to complete this not-so-favorable dining experience.
My Fiance and I had our first date here in 2001, we stop in occasionally ever since and always get the Reuben! It is a wonderful place to go!
Great place! My buddies and I stopped in on St. Patrick's Day for a quick bite to eat. We were surprised by the hospitality of the staff, the selection of beer and the tastiness of the food! We definitely have plans to go back. Try the Tuna Steak!
