Wow!!! You would never expect this from the looks of the outside. Today I took a chance on Wah-Fu Restaurant based on the other reviews on this page. Once I drove up my girlfriend and I had second thoughts, but we were both very happy we went in. There is this nice lady, who has to be the owner, who greats you upon your arrival making you feel very welcome. Although we were still a little apprehensive about the whole thing, the food came out, first taste - worries gone. Portions where huge (wish we would have shared) & taste was spot on. Price was cheap, about four dollars a dish (lunch) and make sure you try the sauces!
100% for this place...
This place is GREAT. Very good food, huge portion, very inexpensive. Yes,it does look kinda scary from outside...They do not take credit cards, cash only.
I've been going to this restaurant for 20 years and the prices have NEVER gone up!!!! And they have the BEST food. PERIOD!!! The place is a little-hole-in-the-wall that looks like a down-home soulfood kitchen, except for the fact that soulfood kitchens don't normally have Chinese lanterns hanging from the ceiling! You're greeted when you walk in by the smiling-est server on the planet who knows her regulars by name and treats you like family and never seems to get tired. And the FOOD!!!!! The sweet and sour sauce for the egg rolls is the best anywhere and the egg rolls are pretty darn good, too! My favorite dinner menu item is the Beef and Boccoli and nobody makes it better. And if you order duck you get a whole duck not just a few pieces. But don't worry, it won't be like A Christmas Story (fa-ra-ra-ra-ra) because they take it off the bone for you before they bring it to the table and there's no head! I give this place TEN stars!!!!!!!!!!
