Another Dayton favorite, and ok, I like it too. I'm not sure if its the the decor from the stone-age, or the fact that have to open up a tab so I can be invoiced and billed; must be like the good ole days. Tried and true steaks, a grand bar, experienced veteran waitstaff. What, no dessert? Anyway. Try the carryout menu, the cheeseburger is top-notch.
I went there to take a friend for his birthday. They need to update bad. The booths seats were sunk in. It was uncomfortable. The salad was straight out of the bag. Just plain lettuce. My steak was a strip and it didn't taste right. Bad experience. I told the waitress about my steak and she said nothing. I couldn't believe the price for that garbage. Don't waste your money. Sorry Pine Club but you were BAD!!! added- concerning comment- I went to jay's for about the same price that was GREAT!!!I still think Pine club was bad, i have right to my opinion
I was there several times a couple of years old while in the area for work. I liked the old school interior and the payment by cash only policy. The steaks were very good, the stewed tomatoes and fries are worth a try anytime.

It's a shame about suzie (pam) and her 'date?'. This place has a great steak, some people like ponderosa, but usually they drink wine from a box. Peace out, suzie
I have not been to the PC since 1992. Had an office in Dayton back then and ate there many times. All good, a bit snotty staff, but as a THE PALM steak guy, it was typical steak house type flavor. I am heading back to PC on August 1 2009 for a return to see if it is what it used to be... Hope so... sounds as if nothing has changed including the decor.. LOL - hope the wine list has kept up -- and BTW, I will be eating at Jays on Sunday Aug 2 as well. Once the two best places in town, hope they still are ---
