One of my favorite resturants in dayton.I love the dark atmosphere with the soft music in the background. The food is always good ,hot and consistant.Would like to see other nightly specials,because mondays[primerib] is packed.Perhaps drink specials also!
I dined at The Barnsider July 17th, 2009. It seemed like everything that sounded good to me had an "upcharge", sour cream, particular salad, etc. My server (Tammy) was annoyed that I asked whether or not there was an upcharge on two items that I was interested in. Her response was crude and edgy. She litterally stomped around my table instead of walking, and slammed plates and glasses on the table! When she brought my bill, there was a $1.50 upcharge for blue cheese dressing that I ordered to go on my salad. I will never go back to the Barnsider. Too many hidden costs and Tammy.
we were there on Saturday.....Jessica was our server....had a fantastic meal and service.....would go again if we were in the area.
