Dolbeer's Cleaners

I was looking for a cleaners too clean a wedding dress I am wearing for my wedding. I took it to capitol cleaners, but they wanted 200 to send it to a company that specializes in cleaning wedding gowns, I though maybe I could find something a little cheaper, so I found Dolbeers, they were 30 dollars cheaper but before making my decision, I specifically asked the ladies at the counter if their machine, as well as the detergant they use, would hurt my gown in ANY way, the reassured me it would not. I had gone on too tell them that capitol cleaners sends it out to specialist, asked them if they did the same or if they cleaned them their selves. The girls went on to tell me they did all the work themselves and did not even ask too look the dress over first, compared to capitol who actually looks out for you'r best intrest!!!. so I trusted them. A little about my dress..it has sweedish crystals hand sewin into it, as well as beading, it is very detailed, when I took it too capitol they looked it over and assured me the company they send it too gets every thing out of it..the dirt at the bottom and everythng as well as the dress not being damaged. I pick my dress up on friday of march 21 of 2009 and notice..allot of threading sticking out and alot of the beads are falling off..and they did not even get the bottom of it cleaned..I took this dress in to them in perfict conditions..it was brand new basically!!!!! so now I have to pay to get my dress fixed when it is their fault for ruining it and my wedding is in 2 week's..don't trust them....with anything when you have a low budget you cannot afford much but in this I have learned cheaper is not always better!! obviously. I am in the process of talking to the manager. I am just praying they do something about it because it is their fault my wedding dreess is ruined in the first place. I do not recomend dolbeers to anyone for anything!!!
