User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWe were visiting from out of state and stopped in to eat at the White Star. The food was excellent and so was the service. We loved the home style food and the the very pleasant atmosphere. The owner came over to our table and chatted for a few minutes which also added a personal touch to our dining experience. We definitely recommend the White Star and look forward to visiting in Peebles and eating at what we think is the Best restaurant in town.

I am from the Peebles area and have eaten at the White Star numerous times. The best food in town is when Darlene cooks - she is a wonderful cook. When you eat there, you can always tell when Darlene has cooked the food. Also, try the Little Star Diner in Seaman, Ohio. The White Star in Peebles has a son who manages and cooks some at the Little Star Diner in Seaman, OH. Darlene also helps to cook there but the manager, Jeremy is also a very good cook. Try it out sometime! They have wonderful service there, fast service, and good waitresses.
