User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsTHE COURSE IS IN GREAT SHAPE & ENJOYABLE TO PLAY! IT IS NO LONGER A PRIVATE COUNTRY CLUB, IT IS A PUBLIC GOLF COURSE. THE RATES ARE THE BEST AROUND. MY HUSBAND & I WENT AND PLAYED 18 WITH ANOTHER COUPLE & ASKED ABOUT BRINGING OUR KIDS AND THEY TOLD US WE COULD & INFORMED US THEY COULD GO TO THE POOL(ALSO OPEN TO PUBLIC & ONLY $5.00) FOR THE DAY WHILE WE PLAYED 18 HOLES. THEY WENT SWIMMING FOR THE 4 HOURS IT TOOK FOR US TO PLAY 18. AFTER GOLFING & THE KIDS SWIMMING WE HAD LUNCH @ THE NEW STROKES FOOD SPORTS & SPIRITS @ THE CLUBHOUSE.THE ONLY PROBLEM WE HAD WAS THE TELEPHONE NUMBER LISTED IN THE PHONE BOOK WAS WRONG, WE FINALLY CALLED COLONIAL GC TO GET THE NUMBER. 419-229-2026. IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A NICE COURSE, GOOD PRICES, FOOD & SOMETHING FOR THE KIDS, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!

Short course. Challenging you to use about every club in the bag. Tough par 3's. Old school small greens. Enjoyed it. If you are used to just pulling out the driver on every hold without thinking- this is not your course.

Wasnt Impressed....cant use your driver on most of the par 4's. Very short course.
