I took my girlfriend there last night. Overall, it was probably the best dining experience I have had. The food was great and the whole fondue process was really fun. Our server (James) was friendly, helpful, and attentive to our needs without being a nuisance. We had a full four course meal which took a little over two hours to complete. There was plenty to do at the table which allowed for good conversation instead of just sitting there stuffing our faces. A great change of pace. We also got the "wine flyer" which was a selection of four half-glasses of wine paired with each course of the meal by the staff. All of the wine selections were great as well as reasonably priced ($16/person). And the chocolate fondue is OUTSTANDING! The only downside to the whole experince is the price. If one were to not go "whole hog" and get thier four course offering, it is possible that one might leave feeling a little underfed and overcharged. It is definitely a place reserved for special occasions. I would frequent there for drinks and dessert only though. Overall, I was very satisfied. And she must have liked it too because she said "YES"!

My husband and I have dined at the Castleton Melting Pot many times. The waiting staff is pretty slow and you always have to wait for a seat even on slow nights. The manager at the Castleton location in the nicest terms is a jerk!
My last experience there my order was wrong; someone in the back put BBQ on the sirloin instead of Teriyaki glaze. I just wanted my order to be corrected and nothing more. My waitress got the manager involved, which I did not want. He basically told me I was wrong and it was not BBQ it was Teriyaki glaze on the sirloin. They did not fix our order but gave us more chicken and filet instead.
So be warned!! Bad service and a jerk of a manager! I'm staying away from this location for sure! Next time I want fondue I'll go to Greenwood.

I went with some girlfriends recently just for dessert fondue, and we had a good time. Lots of yummy options. My husband and I had been to the old location in the same strip mall; the new location seemed a bit more open, and I'm not sure they had as many cozy booths as I remember the old location had, but I didn't look that closely. A fun way to spend an evening and make a meal more of an event!
